Fisher Price Hot Wheels & Blokus Giveaway

Fisher Price understand kids. That’s what I felt since I picked up a few things for Bliss when she was a baby. I LOVE the space bouncer (totally not it’s name but what we call it!) and think the Rainforest Lights & Melody play mat is possible the best baby mat ever invented! I’m pretty well versed in Fisher and Price baby stuff but as my kids are still on the little side I hadn’t really explored the toys they make for older kids. Recently I had the chance to look at some first hand and I was pretty impressed!

They have a wide range of licensed toys, including the Toy Story figurines and Cars mechandise. This car is crazy cool! Bear thinks broom-brooming it is awesome and I can only imagine how much fun an older boy would have playing with it and and its features!

Speaking of boys…the Hot Wheels range – no words. They look so cool and I know that Bear would go NUTS for this if he was older.

They even have Hot Wheels for the walls!

Thoughts on “Fisher Price Hot Wheels & Blokus Giveaway

  1. Eli has just started really getting into the littler cars now and LOVES them. Hot Wheels are The bees knees of the little car world!

  2. Great giveaway!
My boy loves his dinky cars – we’re getting quite a collection.
He even has the one my Dad gave me on my 21st – a red ferarri!
We have a little hot wheels box to keep them all in for travel purposes.

  3. The Hot Wheels range is getting bigger and bigger. I think it great to move with the times and keep the kids interested with new ranges. I also love their website with Games, Videos and an updated product store. It helps us Mums to see what ideas they have come up with. My son would think his Mum was Anta Pants if I won one of these wonderful prizes.

  4. I love the hot wheels wall track, it’s so original – which today is hard to find in toys. Don’t know who would love the wall track more my nephews or my hubby…..definately the hubby!

  5. I very nearly bought the Hot Wheels for walls for my youngest nephew this year. They look rad. I ended up going with the HW Custom Motors set up so he can change the wheels etc – there’s something like 300+ combinations of parts. I imagine he’ll get plenty of value from it.

  6. We are big HotWheels fans here. My boys have my brother’s old Hotwheels and many hours are spent brumming them around the house. I constantly find little cars – in my handbag, in my shoes, parked in cupboards. They would love the wall set – might have to look out for that!

  7. I’m sure we have some Hot Wheels in the car collection, along with all sorts of other little and bigger cars. What is it about a little car that will keep kids occupied for hours?

  8. I love that there are so many to choose from, the selection is endless, great for collectors..what I don’t like is when we miss one and I end up stepping on it!

  9. Hot Wheels range? Hot! Hot! Hot! Not only are the toys quiet, so are the kids playing with them :)

  10. We have quite a few Hot Wheels cars but I think they’d get a lot more use if we had one of those awesome tracks to go with them!

  11. I think Hot Wheels are fantastic as they help make the change from ‘little boy’ (who likes big chunky toys) to a ‘big boy’ who can throw a car or two in his pocket and they’ll keep him entertained for ages!

  12. My sons is 8 months and each time we go shopping we buy him a Hot wheels… His going to have a huge collection even before he can play with them

  13. What’s not to like about Hot Wheels?! My son is the only boy – with 3 sisters. So anything Hot Wheels-related is welcomed with open arms! He adores their range and I am secretly glad that it’s a change to the sea of pink that invades our play room!

  14. Hot Wheels are fantastic! We have been to several boys parties this year and we have given Hot Wheels sets as presents – why because they are reasonably priced, great colours, they can do neat tricks and my four year old thinks they are seriously COOL. I especially love the wall track, what a clever idea.

  15. We are hot wheels fans here .. I grew up playing with hot wheels racing tracks and cars and now my son is also a big fan of hot wheels. For us hot wheels means – Quality toys for everyone.

  16. Hot Wheels are hot, man! My little girl is dead keen on cars and would be stoked to win this!

  17. Hot Wheels are a great toy for any child of any age – and great for group play, whether it be with friends or family. I love their wall tracks!! Never had them in my day ;) (makes me sound old.. I’m not really!)

  18. I’m a child of the 80s i remember hot wheels from when i was young, i have bought them for my younger siblings and for my own 4 children. I think Hot wheels are fantastic, easy to play alone or with friends/siblings and they are constantly coming out with new ideas like the wall track (which i wish they had when we only had 1 child and lived in a small place.

  19. I LOVE the Hot wheels range and so do my boys, they spend ages when we visit the shops telling me which cars thay would like for the the next event….birthday/christmas… the joy on their faces as they rev (quite realistically) their cars around the house..complete with screetching around corners is fantastic. they talk of bonnets, hoods, spoilers and also that when they are daddies they want cars with 2 exhausts!! very cute!

  20. My son has been in love with Hot Wheels cars since he was one. They are still his favourite thing to play with every day and still what he requests for birthdays and Christmas. He keeps requesting racetracks even though he got one last time so he (and we!) would love the Rev Ups set.
The wall ones look pretty cool (and don’t take up as much floor space) but I’d love to see one in action before purchasing just because we can’t believe it sticks to the wall as well as it would need to. Anyone got one yet? Can you vouch for it’s stickability?

  21. Hot wheels well done what a fantastic creation for the hot wheels car to go on my sons eye nearly pooped out of his when he saw it.

  22. I love that hot wheels are suitable for all ages, my 2 year old daughter loves brooming them around (and has done so since she was 1) and my 5 year old son loves doing more advanced things with them, and my 35 year old hubby plays with the 2 year old and the 5 year old! They are such great quality (and only cost a litte more than the cheaper versions – but last more than twice as long!!)

  23. Can’t get enough hot wheels when you have two boys. This one is great more space on the floor and this one can take over their bedroom wall.

  24. We are huge Hot Wheels fans in this house. Both of my sons who are 5 and 1 love them. My husband still has all of his small toy cars from when he was a boy and has given them to our boys and they cherish them. Those new tracks look fantastic and would make our boys ecstatic. What I also love about them is for just $2 you can buy a car as a treat for your kids without breaking the bank, and they love picking out a new car. Thanks for the opportunity to enter your giveaway! :-)

  26. Hi Louisa,
Where do you post the winners of the competitions? I looked for who won the Kitchen Aid and couldn’t see where the winner was posted?
    Thanks!

  27. I love the fact that the HOT WHEELS range is so inventive. Also, a brilliant bonding experience for Dad’s. You know they will beg to play with it.

  28. We love Hot Wheels, my daughter loves the water changing cars that came out a couple of years ago, she still plays with them now, classic fun!

  29. My daughter ADORES hot wheels! She is such a car fanatic…she would love this SO much!!

  30. My son has a little suitcase filled with hot wheels!!! He lines them up the front door to the back and you have to side step everywhere or break a leg:) I love them as they build his motor skills and his imagination is unrivelled!

  31. My twinnies are 2 and have just really started playing with cars – and it was awesome for my 12 year old, who pulled out all his older hot wheels cars/tracks and he plays with them and can still be a kid again ! He goes to high school next year and is constantly attached to his ipod etc etc, its great to see him being a kid !!! Im super loving that on the wall track.. How cool is that?!?!?!

  32. The Hot Wheels range is original and fun,
    Fisher Price is number one.
There is nothing the new collection lacks,
It has everything – cool cars and tracks.
There’s only one thing I can fault among,
Is that they didn’t have this variety when I was young!!

  33. i love that hotwheels have a range that both boys can play and interact with (they are 2 and 6 months) my eldest is forever using his brother as a speed bump and its great to watch them laugh and play together :)

  34. The Hot Wheels range is great, I love how many different choices of cars there are, including ones my little girl loves!

  35. Hot Wheels rock, my kid’s boy and a girl play with them for hours. They have a massive collection and every single one has a name and god help me if one should go missing. How they notice one gone out of so many is beyond me. My son has now decided he wants to actually collect them seriously as a hobby after watching a review on You Tube.

  36. My kids LOVE Hot Wheels!! My son got some of the colour changing cars for his birthday and they can’t get enough of them, there are so many cool hot wheels items these days, they keep the small and big kids happy and entertained!

  37. Cars, cars, cars, cars, CARS!

They are all over the floor! Might as well make it all over the walls as well! At least it would stop me from climbing them…

  38. I love the hot wheels range its the only toy i go out of my way buying for my 3yr old and what boy can have too many hot wheels cars.. and they are great for my little ones imagination =)

  39. My son loves games and blokus looks like a fantastic family challenge. Great for the school holidays.

  40. My 3.5 year old is obsessed with the wall tracks and he put that on his santa list for christmas this year. Hot wheels have been around for years and continue to be one of the favourites if your after quality and tough toys then i would have to recommend hot wheels :)

  41. Hot Wheels are a huge hit in my house, even Dad and Poppy have gotten involved, and Mr 4 loves them. Thats what is so great about them, they’ve spanned generations and I’m sure will continue to. This latest range looks like it will live up to the standard of fun!

  42. I love the price range…from a couple bucks up. In particular, my boy loves the colour change cars….he has a warm bath with the cars and a jug of cold water, and will spend an hour in there changing them back and forth. So cute!

  43. I just bought my 4yo nephew an awesome Hot Wheels set for Chirstmas – but I didn’t see these ones! He would be going bananas for a chance to get his hands on these! They are fantastic because it inspires creativity and use of imgination in kids instead of having them sit in front of a computer/TV screen.

  44. we have hot wheel challenges in our home
that have been mightier than the pyramids of giza
this new range is so well crafted
    with more style than ibiza

  45. My little 3 year old boy is toy car crazy, and he loves the hot wheels the best. Just looking at the Hot Wheels for Walls set looks great, maybe that will be his xmas gift this year.

  46. Wow hot wheels track loved playing this when I was young, now having two boys they are really into cars like me. Hot Wheels Track would definately keep them going.
