YOU!

Yep, that’s right – this one’s all about you!

For the first time in my life I am getting up EARLY to read the Bible and pray – I should say the first time consistently but it amounts to the same thing.

I am loving starting the day this way, much more effective (for me) to do it this way than aiming for the middle or end of the day!

I pray for many of you who read this blog and would love to know if there are specific things I can be praying for/about. If I don’t know you then that’s doesn’t matter, I’d still love to pray for you!! Either leave a comment & perhaps others will pray also, or send me an email so I can pray.

One other quick thing – this morning I was listening to a number of Ravi Zacharias sermons which I found to be incredibley challenging and inspiring. In particular ‘A life that lost its focus: Saul’ Part 1 & Part 2 ‘He saw, he left, he conquered’ Part 1 & Part 2. I encourage you to subscribe to this podcast and listen to these inspiring words.

p.s. I’m still excited and still want to know who’s out there…pretty please!

Thoughts on “YOU!

  1. hey Lou!

Im out here :-) I love reading your blog (well ever since I knew it existed, which was like a week ago!) You encourage me with your enthusiasm for our amazing wonderful Saviour. I am thankful for so much, we are part of a great bible study that meets each week, with really diverse people, so we all ahve differnt view points and can learn from each other. No matter where the Lord sends us, he provides us with a church family. He is awesome!
Prayer points – definietly needed, but will send you an email on that.
    Have a great weekend,
    Love Emma. (Steinfelder) :-)

  2. And I’m here in Schopfheim, Germany and Roger and I would like prayer for discipline to put into practise the things we learned while at London Lab. Also we need to do some goal setting for the next 6 months. Would love to know you are praying for us Lou. We are very excited about our ministry, and who knows, one day you might come and join us!
Gaynor Ridley – Planting a Mosaic Community in Basel/Loerrach with Roger and a team of 15 people at the moment, mostly American BUT we really need some Aussies, Asians and English (of the UK variety).

  3. Hey Em & Gaynor, Will be praying for you both. (Em, thanks for your email)

Gaynor, would love to know more about the Mosaic Community and London Lab and let me know if other specifics arise that you & Roger would like prayer for. I am praying for your daughter & Tom regularly – she is such a good friend to me!

    God Bless!

  4. Lou – you’re a sweetie! I have been inspired by you starting up your morning time with God and am trying to also get my butt in gear. Thanks for being so open, honest and willing to share your life!!
    Love G
