Colgate Smiles, Helping Aussie Children In Need

Today I’m really pleased to be able to share with you a topic close to my heart; supporting Aussie kids in need.

Last year The Smith Family, who have been around for 90years this year, were able to help over 117,000 children in need across Australia, which I think is just amazing! One of their programs is called the Learning For Life program which supports over 32,000 disadvantaged children through their education from pre-school through primary and senior school, even onto tertiary if they so choose. It provides holistic, long terms support to help them stay in engaged in their education.

Colgate Australia have partnered with The Smith Family to raise money to help Aussie kids in need and I’m proud to be partnering with Colgate to promote this campaign and support this important cause. The Colgate Smiles campaign launched last week, and is raising awareness around the work of The Smith Family, and the plight of many children in Australia. I’m sure you will be as shocked as I was to learn that one in ten Australian children are disadvantaged.
